Dr. Hyslop attention to detail is what saved my life. I went to the emergency room with stroke symptoms and during the testing, it was found I had a 90% blockage of my carotid artery. That was bad but the worst thing was I had a flap of plaque that was holding on by a string. His paying attention to that detail lead to surgery that really did save my life. He came in the hospital room and showed my wife pictures so that we could see what was going on and explained it so we could understand. He performed the surgery and within a few days, I was feeling great. I intend on keeping him as one of my doctors from now on and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good Doctor who genuinely cares about his patients.

Surgical Associates of Richmond gets 5 stars from me. Great client services, everyone cares about your health. The doctors are fantastic! When I had to have emergency surgery on my colon my gastroenterologist recommend one doctor and that was John Hyslop . He told me he was one of the finest skilled surgeon. I went to surgery and long story short is he saved my life. He is not only a skilled surgeon but a great passionate person.

This physician provides excellent care. He listens to your concerns and is very responsive to your questions. He is comfortable to talk to and has a calming demeanor. His surgical expertise is impeccable. I would highly recommend him and his staff

I was referred to Dr. Hyslop by my cardiologist Dr. Shevial Kapadia, My wife who is an R.N.nWas very familiar with Dr. Hyslop, she was very happy that I went to see him. I was very impressed with his concern for my conditionnand was happy with his advice for me to follow. I would highly recommend Dr. Hyslop to anyone needing a vascular Surgeon.

My husband had his first appointment with Dr Hyslop last week. The staff at the front desk was awesome, as was Dr Hyslop's nurse. Dr Hyslop spent a lot of time talking to us. He was genuinely interested in my husband's condition. We would recommend Dr Hyslop and were extremely satisfied with his practice.
