I have gone here for more than 25 years. All the original doctors retired. Sadly, the practice has nosedived under its new organization. I have found them to be unresponsive and uncaring. It took me numerous phone calls and 4 days to get a prescription refill called in to the pharmacy. Recently, I went there, saw a doctor I had never seen before and then the next day tried to ask a related question of the one I had seen twice, since the one I just saw was off the next day...but she would not take my call. I had to go to another practice that day to get the care and prescription I needed urgently for an infection. Lab work results were never provided to me. What a disappointment. I will never return.

I have been going to this practice for 20+ years. Received good care until were bought out by Southside.nI have never had to wait more than a day or 2 for an appointment.. Until now , it runs 4-10 days, if one is sick... By the time you can be seen you're over the sickness. Now, I get directed to patient first every time I am sick.. ( which the co-pay is double) - all they seem to do is wellness checks - don't seem to want anyone's business.

Worst Service Ever. I have used this doctors office for 20+ years, I went there and my children have gone there. They're rude now and can hardly get an appointment in the same day. After Southside took over the whole place went down hill including staff!

I was a patient there from birth till I relocated around 23 years old. Growing up they were Family Physicians of Chester. Dr. Stennett was awesome! Great family practice. This new Southside Physicians is disgraceful. I needed to get records moved because I live in another state basically. They denied getting a fax back in April, the first receptionist I spoke with played dumb, was rude and gave me such a hard time. She basically said you probably faxed it wrong. I called my new doctor, nope they had the correct fax number. Then second receptionist had no clue what was happening, tried to say I had to drive all the way their with a release signature...when that was what was faxed. No, I'm not making a day trip, check your fax machine, and do your job. She then checked and said oh wait, it's all here, it came through. Then why are you giving me a hard time. All you had to do was check, say it was received and it would be handled. This is beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if my new doctor never receives the forms. Luckily I called new office (it was related to a prescription I need) and they will work around it. Do not expect any courtesy, manners or help when dealing with this guys over the phone. I can't even imagine what it's like going in person. Such a nightmare.

I was looking for a doctor for my husband and myself after having major blood pressure problems with my former doctor I went to for over 15 years and kept receiving horrible care. I found Dr. Port and he was like magic. His bedside manner was amazing and his diagnostic techniques were fantastic, a truly old school doctor. Then after 2 years of my husband and I going to this office Dr. Port moves out of state. I was heartbroken because he was the first doctor my husband actually trusted. When the switch happened we felt we received poor care, Dr. Lingler was a bit standoffish, the front desk was robotic but the nurses were always kind. I decided to give them another chance even after being told they did not provide care for patients involved in a car accident and I had to find another doctor, (I was furious!!!)nI am glad I gave them another chance. Dr Lingler was so personable and sweet my next visit and I felt comforted. My husband fell in “Medical Love” ud83dude02 with the nurse practitioners one of which he would see before he sees Dr. Lingler! Change is hard especially when one finds a fantastic doctor like I did in Dr. Port. I feel in the beginning stages of the office change were growing pains and understand NO DOCTOR OR PA OR NURSE ASSISTANT OR NURSE GOES INTO THESE FIELDS WITH THE INTENTIONS OF GIVING POOR CARE!! This is a dedicated team with your care in mind. Like the other negative reviews said yes this IS a business and yes there were changes made but they were made to keep up with the new changes to fall in line with updated formats now used to communicate our medical needs in a timely manner. I won’t go anywhere else for care.
