William & Henry Steakhouse

My wife and I dined here 3/19 to celebrate our anniversary. While it is a nice restaurant with a friendly and accommodating staff, I would say it was not worth the price point. We ordered the crab cake appetizers, then I ordered the Ribeye, medium rare, and my wife ordered the lamb, medium. The crab cakes were great. The steak came out medium (or a bit over done compared to what I normally receive as “medium rare” elsewhere) and had a comparable flavor to what you would get at other steakhouses in town. The lamb was cooked well, but was in dire need of seasoning. The garnish that comes with the lamb (tomato, onion, and basil medley) was cold which was also a bit off putting given that it was to be eaten with warm lamb. The server was friendly and helpful but frequented the table more than you would expect at an intimate restaurant. He checked on us around 10-12 times throughout the course of the meal to ask how things were, fill up our waters, etc. I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing and I do appreciate the desire to assist, but it proved to be a bit disrupting to conversation, especially when the waiter is reaching over the table to fill up waters even though a pitcher is left for us to self-fill. Lastly, as I mentioned earlier the occasion was my wife and I’s anniversary. When making the reservation online, the system asks if there is anything you are celebrating and “Anniversary” is an option. Naturally I selected it. Neither the hostess nor the server mentioned anything about it being our anniversary, which again is not necessarily a problem, but you would expect that if they request to know the occasion they would at lest usher a congratulations or thank us for choosing their establishment over others to spend the evening.nnThis may seem nit-picky, but for $185 dollars for two people I feel like I have the right to be. Overall, it’s a nice place to eat if you’re visiting or have a date night planned, but don’t expect to be blown away and do expect to spend at least $120 dollars for a full meal for two.

We were in town for a wedding and decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out. This place was awesome. Morgan was our server and she was excellent. Would highly recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous dinner - we had the 14oz sirloin and stuffed salmon with fingerling potatoes, all served piping hot. Better than Ruth’s Chris and much less expensive.

Top notch service and food. Highly recommend the steaks especially with the bacon fig jam topping. The atmosphere, staff and food are amazing, it is well worth every penny spent.

Everything was amazing! Wonderful meals, great service. Most generous lamb portion I've ever seen and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be one of our go to places.
