I am a birthmother who used these services. Since the rebranding of Lutheran Services as Ascentria has taken place the thoughtless nature in which they treat birthmothers is sickening. I have been reaching out for years after my open adoption updates suddenly stopped coming. I was told my contact person might have changed and they maybe made a mistake but they dont know. In the mean time i have called, emailed, facebooked all of it and they never call even after asking for my number in a facebook email, which i have given numerous times. I urge all birthmothers to use a more caring and honest agency.
