An excellent local Museum highlighting the history of Valdez, just like you'd expectnThis Museum tells the local story quite well but the best part is the history of the oil industry, the oil pipeline that ends at Valdez, the oil spill and all the efforts after this spill that created the oil containment industry and system that we have todaynFilling in the history of the Exxon Valdez accident is quite interesting as well. After hearing the complete story you'll be even more dumbfounded how the captain managed to wreck the ship!nIt was a great museum with a surly docent, otherwise we highly recommend it

I like taking people here when I have family or friends over from out of town. It's all very interesting stuff. I love the displays

Valdez Museum is an informative museum about the history of Valdez. The museum is setup in chronological order. I spent two hours at the museum.

Not much to do in Valdez but make sure you spend $5 and check out the cute museum which provides a nice history of the town.
