Vasectomy Center: John Abano MD

My teenager son had a medical condition that we were not sure of how to address. Dr. Abano was very empathetic to my son's queries and took time to explain all options. We decided to move forward with the surgery and it went very well. My son's recovery has been swift and he is very satisfied with the operation. Dr. Abano and his staff (especially Devin..she is just awesome..helped me with insurance and other logistics) are very courteous and helpful. High recommend this center!

From start to finish, this was an easy experience handled by a wonderful team. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.nnI first met the doctor though work and, as I had been contemplating the procedure for awhile at that point, I held onto his card. 2 years later and he was recalling details of our conversation from that quick meet; I was already impressed by how personable and easygoing he was.nnI initially emailed the clinic for information after consulting my insurance over coverage. They got back to me right away answering all of the questions I had, recommending I call in after checking with my insurance (if I hadn’t.) When I called in, I found myself in the aforementioned conversation with the doctor. We caught up like old friends, went over the procedure, and arranged a date. Before I knew it, my time had come.nnAs I had been well prepped by the doctor and his team (self-prep instructions, expectations, instructional videos, and after-care basics,) I felt confident and ready walking in the door. After a little bit of digital paperwork on site, I had only a short wait before I was ushered in, given my instructions, and told to wait for the doc. A few minutes after I was ready, he joined me.nnWhen I say this experience was easy, I was not lying. Initially, all I felt was like a small “snap” of a rubber band, and from there I felt nothing. The doctor and I chatted while he took care of business. When he told me he was halfway done, I was astonished at how quickly things had gone. Soon I was done and felt like mere minutes had passed. We chatted for a few more minutes, reviewed the after care together, and called it a day.nnOver the next few days I felt sore, but only slightly. I have experienced plenty of “unpleasant” moments in the past regarding the area, so I had been somewhat expecting the worst in terms of pain; in the end, I reached a 2 on the 10 scale at worst, and that might be a stretch. I followed the instructions over the next few days, enjoying ice packs and my recliner. When I returned to work a few days later, I took my time moving around, but still felt comfortable. By the next week, I was completely pain free and back to my normal routine.nnA big thank you to the whole team who took care of me through the process. From the initial contact to their follow up call, I knew I was in good hands (literally.) I highly recommend the procedure if you are wanting to take that step, and this team is the team to handle it. 10/10

If are looking for the best, you've found it. Every step of the procedure simply explained straight forward and comfortable. The procedure was shorter and easier than Trip to your tax guy. Consummate experts . Everyone was friendly and made me feel at home. Top notch. Thank y'all . Doing a great job all around

Best doctor I've had in my adult life! He was my primary doctor before too. I agree with one of the other reviews, he takes the time to not only listen to each concern, but addresses each 1 individually with u. And makes sure your good with the results as well! Great Dr and great guy! Thanks Doc

I had a couple friends refer me to the Vasectomy Center. So, having an idea what to expect, it was even better when I had my visit. The procedure was fast and PAINLESS! Doctor John Abano made the procedure very comfortable. I have and will continue to refer friends/family to this clinic. Thanks again!
