Fantastic pet shop. They have so many fish, lizards, and frogs, and they're all nice and healthy. Staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this shop for getting your tank-ed pets.

I’m leaving this based on their Rats. They should not sell Rats seeing as they clearly don’t know enough about them. Rats NEED to be in 2 or more, period and these guys are rehoming single rats. They also don’t have enough knowledge about breeding so I certainly hope they learn how to do this properly, if not don’t sell rats. I would not recommend buying rats from here.

No in store shopping right now due to covid. No web site makes shopping difficult. I used to shop here years ago, and I wish I knew what I was getting in to before I drove 45 minutes to shop here, only to have an employee verbally describe their stock on hand with mediocre pictures of some in stock fish.

We got pinky rats for our snake that wasn't eating. Very very helpful and knowledgeable

Animal House is an incredible place to be able to visit, even though they are only open for curbside pickup during COVID. I was worried that I wouldn't visit if I wasn't able to explore the inside (which is super fun and unique) but I keep coming back because of the service. When I came to buy three platy fish, an employee went inside and took pictures of all the different colorations they had inside and let me scroll through the pictures and pick out exactly which ones I wanted, and then they caught them for me! Wonderful service. The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable, and this is where the real value of Animal House comes in. I'm sure lots of other reviews mention this. When my platy fish got sick, he was able to help me diagnose what the problem was, he had the appropriate medication in stock (and for only $3), and he took the time to talk to me about the steps for taking care of my fish. They are all healthy now, it was very easy! But it would have been much more difficult to know exactly how to care for my fish without his help. Thank you very much.
