Nevada State Capitol Mall

This a beautiful public space between the legislature, the historic legislature, now the governor's office and in front of the supreme Court. I enjoyed a outdoor concert with hundreds of others. Many important ceremonies and events take place here. Enjoy a walk through this and the surrounding spaces.

This is the beautiful ark grounds that sit between the three branches of Nevada State Government. It sits in between the Nevada Legislature, the Nevada Supreme Court, and The Nevada Capitol building. The park is absolutely gorgeous with historic statutes interspersed between grass, shrubs, benches and cement sidewalk. Occasionally there are concerts held on these grounds in the summer time. Just a beautiful place to go read a book, bring a sack lunch or both. The history here is amazing. Just. Across the street us the Nevada state Museum that was originally a US Mint building. The Park area sits in front of the Nevada Supreme Court Building. If you are looking out at the Mall from the supreme Court Building then the Nevada Legislature building is on the left and the Nevada Capitol Building is on the right.

Not much to do. It was kind of a wind down from a week at Lake Tahoe. Interesting Capital City buildings, a railroad museum and the oldest bar in Nevada are the sites to see. Very friendly town. Close to Reno airport.

Peaceful and every thing was in bloom.
