Chimney Beach

Not the kind of beach I'm used to, being from the islands. But still gorgeous nonetheless! It seems that every turn you take, rock you climb, or angle you look, you'll find an intriguing view. It's truly beautiful and peaceful here. It does get busy around mid-day so if you are looking for quiet and solidarity, go in the early hours between 730-930am. I stayed from 830-2 and it progressively got busier. Not a big deal for me as you can simply hop over a couple rocks and be in a different secluded beach. Explore around and you'll find beauty all around!

My absolute favorite beach in Tahoe, if you can take a boat there even better!nDrop anchor close to the beach an enjoy some of the clearest water ever viewed. Easily can see 25ft down. Enjoy the swimming & have lunch. Swim to shore or lounge in a floaty

Beautiful beach! If Sand Harbor is packed, this place is definitely an option if not a first option, to avoid any stress of not getting into a beach. Parking is very limited, so get there early or around 1-2 when people are starting to leave. About a half mile hike down, but it’s not too bad. Highly recommend!

Great beach! Water amazingly blue. Little bit of hiking, maybe 10 minutes down the hill. Usually on weekends is hard to find parking. But amazing experience. Dog friendly.

Beautiful and quiet beach by the lake. You’ll have to get here early to get a good spot. Short hike through the woods on an established trail. Family friendly.
