Passion to follow your dreams is a goal everyone should experience in their life time. I’ve been a fish hobbyist since I was 5 years old, the odd ball kid fascinated with fish for some reason! I collected and raised several species throughout my lifetime, grew out of the hobby as family overcame priorities and eventually shelved my passion for a few years. As my kids grew older and more independent, I grew my passion for tropical fish once again and was fascinated to try the ever so elusive discus! I researched Las Vegas and found Discus America where I met Mike and Miguel. Never in my life had I met two people that were so open to share their knowledge and passion to make sure I was successful as a discus hobbyist. 3 plus years later I’ve successfully raised several domestic strains, bred discus pairs and raised their fry, maintained a fish room and breeding system, I currently have a fleet of thriving wild discus and met so many great people along the way. Excellent quality of discus and super healthy. Ordered 4 wild discus which are amazing but what strike me the most was their friendly behavior. Not skittish at all!! I am surprised compared to some of my domestic discus that get spook very easily. That is merit to Mike who advised me to spend time with the discus. Excellent service, calls you right back.
