Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge

Ash Meadows is a real gem hidden in the middle of nowhere. A beautiful place with an amazing crystal spring, wildlife you can see nowhere else, and it is all made really accessible through the boardwalk trails and interpretive signs. We stopped by for an hour or two simply because it was near where we stayed to visit Death Valley and we could have easily stayed longer. I wish the pandemic were over so we could have fully enjoyed the nature center.

Ash Meadows was and amazing and beautiful place. I was not expecting there to be a interesting spring there with a blue color, but it was a nice surprise. The landscape was cool with the riverbed and the nice view of the mountains. It was an amazing place and I would definitely go again! :)

Beautiful refuge south of Death Valley. Unfortunately we were here between seasons- either still dormant or already bloomed! Lots of informative reader boards and huge vistas. Amazing that there are springs here in the desert with Pupfish.

Beautiful crystal clear springs and 15 foot pond.Boardwalk features a relaxing walk views very scenic, with benches and picnic tables by visitors center. The native Pub fish. Devels hole, Crystals reservoir is beautiful.

A little too early for spring blooms and visitor center closed due to covid so would enjoy more if not for that but still amazing place with plants and fish that live no place else on earth.
