Talk about an assortment of treahwater and saltwater fish??? Trop Aquarium is the go to place for so many aquatic keepers in Vegas Valley. The younger kids are far more knowledgeable than the older guys that work there. They listen and understand what you're trying to do. They offer suggestions and get you all taken care of. I'm in there several times a month getting new stuff for my tanks (29g glass & 50g acrylic). I'm going to have a hard time replacing them when I move to Denver.

Bought five fish from here, after a week one ended up dying while the other four are active, eating, and healthy. I went in with my receipt and a photo of the dead fish for proof to try to get an exchange for the one fish that didn’t work out in my tank but was told to bring a water sample and the dead fish in order to do an exchange. Cool, no problem, I’ll be right back. I had come back with a sample of the water and the dead fish in one container as it was never specified they needed to be separated, just to be told that they won’t do a return because the dead fish won’t give an accurate reading of the water. I wasn’t asking for an exchange of a high cost fish and I had plenty of proof the other fish are doing well and only this one didn’t work out. The staff seem knowledgeable but because of bizarre business tactics I wouldn’t trust buying from them again.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING I WOULD. They were so rude! We went and there was 4 of us but they let us in 2 at a time. If they wanted only three people as a group to go in tell us before going in. Also when they did tell us to stay 6 feet apart if we’re going to stay and we did! We as a group were going to spend over $600 dollars and if they truly wanted the business they would have better customer service.

The staff is very friendly & helpful. Often has a decent plant selection.nCarries both marine and freshwater livestock. Often has live blackworms & brine shrimp.nThey also have a decent amount of aquascaping materials (multiple types of rocks & driftwood)
