Lance's Aquarium

This is your old fashion fish store. It takes me back to my childhood in Los Angeles where a child can browse through the many aquariums with exotic fish. There are salt water and fresh water fish. The big fish are mind blowing not to mention the giant eel that surprises you as you come around the corner. I didn't have to wait to be served like the giant pet stores because I had their full attention. The fish are healthy and acclimated to my aquariums with ease. I definitely will be back.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A variety of plants and fish. The owner was very helpful with aiding me in selecting plants and was very kind. He gave me a lot of advice on my aquarium and the plants are cheap compared to chain stores' prices.

Great pet fish shop. The owner is very helpful. He teached me you how to start my new aquarium. I'll always come back.

Service great! Good selection of marine and freshwater fish.

The tanks were coated in algae and just looked dirty in general.I counted several dead fish on the saltwater side that were being eaten by their tank mates that were covered in ick nodules. I honestly dont think I can trust this place with fish orders do to the fact that their systems are so small and bare on the saltwater side [just sand] That's more stressful to the fish if anything .The owner came off as annoyed when asked a few questions about ordering some fish which instantly was a purchasing turn off even though I knew what kind of attitude i was probably going to get with him from overhearing a conversation with a curious customer ahead of me. I'd rather go to a competitor that has better customer service even if Lance's tanks were pristine with no issues from the start. Also ... why are people adding photos of another fishstore in their reviews about this place? I also went to lucky tropical fish that same day to ask them about their ordering process and remember seeing those exact livestock systems there. Just giving you guys a heads up on that. Only reason they get a star from me is because of that beautiful giant eel they have! Hope they find an awesome home someday !
