I have really mixed feelings about this place. It has incredible scenery and exhibit display. I do love the mini animals, and fish that they display as well. The shark tank is stunning and I love how they have it set up in the Haul of a downed ship. The staff is very friendly and kind and the gift shop has a good variety of things that you can get. The animals seemed to be very well taken care of. My only complaint is we paid 20 bucks per person and it felt like something that should have only been about $10. I felt like for the experience we had the price we paid was too much. Other than that everything else was great
Locals discount 26 dollars includes shark reef and virtual ride
We really enjoyed seeing the shark reef aquarium at Mandalay Bay. It felt like you were in a jungle with ruins all around you. The sharks and other fish were really amazing, and we loved being surrounded by water in the tubes. I did think that the place is quite small and takes two little time to go through for what you pay. Otherwise this is a great place to visit.
It's a cool aquarium. Not very big. Theres a few small habitats and small aquariums then one larger tank. Several portions of the aquarium is different views of the 1 large tank. Sharks are about 5' long. It's a nice break from the Vegas norm. I'd go again someday if it's no more than about $20/person. I forgot what I paid for it.
Great place to see many sea animals. My kids loved the place. The place is quite small so if you walk fast you'll be done in less than 10 min. But they do have many sharks, stingrays and fishes. So take your time, enjoy the animals and take lots of pictures. You can also visit the underwater VR experience next door which is free with admission to aquarium.
