My daughter just graduated from this High School. She had initially started at John McCandles in the 9th grade, left and went to Lincoln High for one semester and did not do well. She returned to the new revamped school which joined with another school and was welcomed back. She loved the smaller classrooms, more friendlier environment starting from the office staff and teachers who were very attentive to students needs and progress on a weekly basis. She was very shy but joined the Leo club where she participated in community service activities, was active in the school's student store and later became president of the Green Club. She was unable to go straight from here to a 4 year college as there is no second language nor higher math classes offered. Although that might have changed. She will start at the Junior College level then transfer in two years. Parents, if you reside in this school district and your child is struggling from the 7th or 8th grade level please don't throw them in the ocean of a larger high school. Consider giving this school a try. You will not be disappointed!!!
