DeVon's has been around for decades because they're honest and I've purchased items from them in the past (my wife's wedding ring for example). On this trip, I stopped in to see about a new watch band. The watch isn't expensive, perhaps $350.00, but as much as I like it, I dislike its band. The staff at DeVon's told me that since my problem was the clasp I should replace it not the entire band. They could have easily sold me a band but they weren't interested in a small one time sale. The jewler found a clasp in a draw, and then attached it for me. Although I offerred, he wouldn't take money for his effort. While in the store, I looked at the Rolex display. They were low on stock and then we talked at some length why. I saw a model that I liked and if it's still on display next week I might just wander in and buy it. I have an Omega, and several other less expensive watches but I've aways wanted a Rolex. Anyone seeking a high end watch should only buy one from a reputable dealer who knows the merchandise because the market is full of disreputable sellers offerring very convincing knockoffs. I believe DeVon's is a trustworthy and reputable jewler and they're nice.
