There are at least 3 local galleries I enjoy visiting every few months: Penn Cove Gallery in Coupeville, Garry Oak Gallery on Pioneer in Oak Harbor and Scott Milo Gallery in Anacortes.nnThey are wonderful sources of diverse-medium local art and provide shopping opportunities for economical gifts representing life on Whidbey Island.nnPenn Cove Gallery offers eclectic selections of pottery, blown glass, paintings, jewelry and wood working. Good lighting and perspective matched with friendly (artisan) staff make it wonderful venue to shop.
