Brownell Library

I am visiting in town, and stopped into the library today to see about finding some books available for my children. This is perhaps my 3rd time visiting Brownell, and I had expected a certain level of assistance. When I was finally able to locate the children's librarian, she didn't make me feel welcomed at all. I felt rushed and as though visitors may not be wanted there. It was not the 'friendly and warm' atmosphere we'd expect in a small town library. While it's meticulously kept and charming, the same can't be said of everyone who works there. Guess I'll go find another resource.

Best little library in R.I.! The knowledgeable staff, with patient, very experienced techs among them, provide polite, efficient service. Beautiful, well maintained building with landscaped Pavilion, wifi, and comfy chairs!nCozy in winter, breezy in summer, a user-friendly resource year-round.
