I just have to say that Josh is amazing! Fantastic conversationalist as he listens and asks questions and just makes you feel comfortable when you're around him! He genuinely wants to make you happy! That's 5 star service in my book!

We had been with the Josh Barnett Agency for years and felt like the prices kept going way up. You would think since we had been there for so long they would be lower, so we decided to look and went quotes elsewhere. There were so many that could easily beat their high prices, but we found one that matched all of our coverages and had way better customer service for lower than half the price! CRAZY! When I called to cancel with American Family, the customer service rep didn’t even try to keep us as customers, I told her we had been with Them for years and we had found a cheaper price and she said fine we will cancel your service. She didn’t even ask us what the other companies price was to try to keep us as customers. I never felt like like I was a valued member for the insurance company & every time I had to deal with anyone from the branch I felt like they never handled the problems in a timely manner and felt like Josh was a little too narcissistic and sometimes when he handled problems over the year he made sure we new who he was and just seemed to show off his ego.

American Family has been very frustrating over the past few years and now I’m canceling with them, this was the last straw. I had three different agencies over 5 years, and two of the three have supposedly been fired and closed agencies because of fraud. That’s what a couple agents have told me as well as customer service. Pretty sad!! Unfortunately I was taken advantage of too. They misled and misquoted multiple times, not just agents and not just customer service, but both of those and their own website! Somehow every time they say it’s my fault and they can’t do anything about it. This last time they actually took the blame because I showed them screenshots of their websites and email conversations with agents quoting differently than they actually charge. The Josh Barnett agency offered me a $5 gift card to Papa Murphy’s pizza for their mistake that cost me $800 more that year than they quoted. Their corporate complaint team does nothing and clearly this isn’t going to change, so I give up. Fooled me too many times and now I’d be the fool to give them another chance. Don’t trust American Family!

I worked with them for only a couple of months and the entire time was a disaster. They would always say one thing and then do another. Overcharged me, and quite frankly stole from me I feel. Would not recommend them to anyone or for anything
