Dan and Joan are wonderful hosts! Delicious breakfast everyday and very comfortable rooms. We have been staying at Idlewyld for years and can't imagine staying at any other B&B in Lakeside! The rocking chairs on the porch make it possible to listen to some of the concerts held at Hoover Auditorium which is conveniently located right across the street
This is my family's favorite place to stay when we are at Lakeside. We have been going here for years. It's a great location at the across from Hoover Auditorium and block from the main business district. The rooms come in different doses and are comfortable. The breakfast are always tasty. Much better than you will find anywhere else. Dan and Joan are wonderful hosts; making our stay enjoyable. Spend some time on the front porch in one of the many rustic rocking chairs. Read, play games, people watch, listen to conversations, or start your own conversation. I highly recommend.
Joan and dDan run a wonderful bed and breakfast... so relaxing. A big front porch, and nicely appointed rooms... and the Best Breakfast at Lakeside!!!! We highly recommend Idlewyld!!!
Perfect location, the house is great, very comfortable with super friendly owners. Breakfast and coffee were great. Definitely would love to stay here again sometime.
