Walked in on an unscheduled day off and they took my information and was able to slide me in that same day after lunch for ex-rays and examination on my teeth and gums. One of the ladies spoke Spanish which I liked due to the fact of being from South Padre Island and close to Mexico and speaking Spanish. The staff was friendly and of good spirit. I don't much like doctor and or dentist appointments too much. I will see on my follow up how much pain I will be put through. I will post again my experience and opinion.

Visit went well, no problems until I went to the restroom and fell. I thought I was fine, a little sore until I went to the hospital ER and found I broke three bones in my right foot. The receptionist helped me and I was grateful for that since I also hurt my pride. I'm not holding anyone responsible but you might do something with the door of restroom because it is a little heavy and closes a little too quickly. I fell trying to get out of the way so I wouldn't get hurt but that didn't work out so well. Other than that all was good.

Do yourself a favor and read the reviews very carefully, not only of this office, but of Aspen Dental as a whole. When my family member mentioned how terrible Aspen was, I didn’t realize the extent of it. I was just thrilled to find a cleaning appointment sooner than six months out. Marcella one of the office managers is very sweet and personable, and the office is very clean. However, I went in for a minor problem, was told I had a surprise huge problem, and asked to make a deposit on the one procedure my insurance won’t pay (fishy practice, check out the number of lawsuits against Aspen for these things). Bizarre to ask for a deposit in advance, but when they shock you into thinking you mysteriously have a disease after you spend a lot of time on your dental health, you immediately pay it. Luckily got a second opinion afterwards, discovered I had a super minor problem like I thought, and my issue is resolved the next day rather than a week later after a $1500 procedure that would’ve caused me more pain and inconvenience. Oh, and they didn’t even do the diagnostic testing to determine if I even had that condition! When I asked to keep my cleaning appointment, I was informed that the hygienist would have to do the diagnostic work that day before the cleaning. Aka so they could convince me I had the bigger problem. Very deceitful money making process at the expense of the patients health that most people won’t catch on to if they don’t have access to a second opinion. Great if you need immediate work done because of their schedule flexibility, but expect to pay the price tag and be bullied into things you probably don’t want or need.

Awesome dentist office that takes the time to answer questions you have! I struggled financially to pay for all of my services and extractions upfront however I was able to pay a little bit at a time online to my patient portal. Then within 2-3 months I had enough in there plus some extra for Aspen to pull out and cover my full upper Dentures, a few extractions and the office visits to check up on healing. I was very happy I didn't need to borrow any sort of money or do financing. I highly recommend paying a little into your patient portal (ask them how to sign up/your account number) every payday or what you can fit into your budget. And before you know it, your getting everything done that you need without borrowing! The other thing that was very thoughtful was if you have extractions before your you get your dentures. They will show you what they look like before the extractions and you get the dentures. Then on the day of the extractions you actually take your dentures home so there is no days of embarrassing gaps you have to worry about! Super awesome of them to do!! Got a root canal...developed an infection had it for a while due to the root canal. Also, they tell you one price and try to charge you another. Their bright spot is their office now manager. She's knowledgable and tries very hard to get your care covered or offers different ways to get procedures done.
