We stayed in the Cherokee Cabin, which was cozy, but the water quality is worth noting in my opinion. I am personally not a fan of well water, so do keep that in mind, but the bigger issue was that it was extremely rusty. I have lived in developing countries so I am used to to iffy water and I was prepared with drinking water. However, I had to buy more to cook with because the condition was so bad. Unfortunately, it means I would not return to this cabin again. The sink, toilet, shower all had severe damage because of the iron.nnPros: the cabins furniture, bedding, carpet, and kitchen were comfortable and clean. The owner was extremely accomdating when I booked the wrong dates as well.nnOther cons: poor overhead lighting, and the location is not as secluded as other places nearby. There are three other cabins, and you can see/hear cars from the cabin.

The cabin was quaint very cute. The only thing that caught me to the surprise was the water, it turned orangish-red when I tried to warm up water for coffee so we had to buy gallons of water. Overall a great trip

It was amazing totally taking my family again! We stayed in the Cherokee cabin it was my family's 3rd time there. I would recommend going around Christmas time because they had Christmas decorations including a small Christmas tree!

Quiet and cozy. Feels like a real cabin on the inside. Would come back!

To be fair, we had a good time, we always do at hocking hills. The cabin itself was not as clean as most we’ve stayed in. We were in their Cherokee cabin. The Wi-Fi is worthless, do not count on it at all. What upset me the most was the way they charged us and their lack of communication and professionalism. We paid for half of the rental when we booked with a credit card. We received a letter in the mail with a list of rules and the rest of the charges due upon arrival. One amount for paying with a credit card and a lesser amount for paying cash or check. When we arrived to the cabin there was another statement left for us with what we would still owe for our stay. Both amounts, credit or cash, were over $25 more than what we were originally quoted in the letter. We paid the new balance before we left. When I called to find out why there was a difference, I could not get ahold of anyone. I left a message and stated the reason for my call. We’ve been back home for over a week, never got a call back. They didn’t waste any time cashing the check I wrote though. We appreciated the card and dessert left, however it was apparently the most expensive dessert we’ve ever had!
