Walking through the door at Creekside Fabrics and Quilts is like coming home. Owner, Sandu Purdy, who seems to be there all the time, greets her customers like old friends. Despite the mask, the smile in her eyes is genuine and interest in whatever you are working on, sincere. All staff seem to have been inoculated with Sandy-ism as they are always pleasant and helpful. The fabric stock is interesting and never dull. The machines one purchases there are of the highest quality in order to meet with Sandy's standards. You must visit. Plan to spend enough time for oooing and aaahing at the goodies you find. Dream of making your own quilt. They will help you from beginning to end.

Road Trip? Zoom Classes, Facebook? This is a great place! Regardless if you're experienced, novice, or just seeking a special gift or help, Creekside Fabrics, Quilts, and Yarn in Arcade is truly worth a visit or call. We did a road trip with our 4-leggeds to purchase a beautiful custom cotton baby quilt. They were welcome, too.nnWe were greeted by 1500 bolts of fabric - classic and trendy. Wonderful yarns, patterns galore, PLUS an owner and staff ready to help you further discover who you are creatively through fabrics and yarn. They have advanced & novice quilting and sewing instruction, online classes, and clubs. They also provide alterations and custom sewing. During this Virus and after, you can try something new or different. Give Sandy a call!nnAnd - if you road trip, you can eat across the street at Main Street Grille like we did or at another fun restaurant in town and then visit the local railroad station. Have some fun! And support local business.

There isn't enough stars there ! Very helpful and Sandy was as excited about her products as me and my daughter were about purchasing them and making something with them !
