the library has a great (and easy) system right now due to covid-19 (just call to make an appointment, and do a curbside pickup for your books). it's nice to be able to pick up books safely, and they give you a hot cocoa packet with your order (along with helpful pamphlets)! a cute touch. the library has always been a wonderful asset to the community -- it's just great to see them helping out during covid, too. I can't wait to see them reopen once things are safer, but in the meantime, I'll be enjoying my hot cocoa and books.✨
attention huntington taxpayers are paying an average of 900 dollars per household for a library that is rarely open check out the saleries of these people where is the accountabilty . time to check out there little fiefdom and find out whats going on!
I think aaa. aa. Ss
The average clientele (adults) don’t understand that libraries are generally quite places and whispering is the appropriate volume to talk. Many people talk as loud as they please and when confronted or stared at, they just get louder. Like, Seriously? Are you that petty that you can’t just be quiet and polite in a library.nnFurther, people don’t understand that libraries aren’t places to let your children run around and scream. God forbid you have to parent your child and teach them to be quiet.nnMaybe obnoxious reminder signs would help, since people don’t have common courtesy anymore.nnHorrible place to study.nnEDIT: I was in a quiet area. However, people think it’s a “talk as loud as you want” area, including the library staff and people that come in to talk on the phone.
Great library and great programs for all ages.
