Burns Equine

I’m not one with a talent for words, so I hope I can do Burns Equine and Tiata justice with conveying our experience.nA little back story...My sweet husband bought our Welsh pony cross, Meadow, sight unseen for our then, 11 year old daughter’s first horse. Meadow was advertised as an all around kids horse with a great disposition. When we brought her home, she was everything but the traits advertised. VERY mareish, and would threaten to buck.nWe put our daughter in lessons with Tiata and even after a year, Meadow still was “too much horse” for our daughter to ride. I strongly considered just selling her, but our daughter loves this horse, and Meadow has become her heart horse. So, we put Meadow into a 30 day tune up with Tiata. I really wish I had taken before and after videos! The transformation is incredible!! Meadow acted like a wild mustang that first day in the round pen. Tiata worked her magic. She communicated almost daily with us, sent progress photos and videos, described where she was at with training and her process. Around week two or three she invited our daughter to be a part of the process. We started slow, and Tiata patiently worked with horse and rider and gradually handed over the reins to our daughter. We now have a completely different horse. We have continued lessons weekly and every time we come to a bump in the road Tiata has been able to give a few words of advice and our daughter is able to turn things around quickly. Our daughter loves her horse even more, and I love that she can safely ride her daily now without too many hiccups. This was really the very best investment for our horse and rider. Our experience was SO positive. Tiata is an incredible horsewoman. She has a real gift. She is meticulous in your horses care and training. We are so grateful for all she has done for us and I HIGHLY recommend Burns Equine for horse boarding, training and lessons!

Burns equine is a fantastic boarding facility!!! I boarded there for 4 years. Only reason I am leaving is because I am moving it of state. Tiata is super knowledgeable about all aspects of horse care, including training, dietary requirements, horse behavior, etc. She truly cares for all of the animals there. All horses are accident prone, and she always alerted me with even minor injuries/illness. Some of which I was impressed she even noticed! I never took lessons from her, but her horses are all very well behaved. She feeds the same hay to her own horses, and is very particular about what she feeds. My horses have never been so well taken care of. I am so sad to be leaving.

Great Management. Very clean Very nice Indoor Arena and large outdoor and round pen with great footing. Excellent care is given to the horses!

Tiata is a terrific horse to human communicator!
