I went to Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Rochester, NH yesterday for several items, but mostly for a stepladder that was adequate for helping me load two 50-pound kayaks to the roof of my SUV. I need one tall enough to reach over the rooftop but wasn’t too steep of an incline on the front side to keep from falling backwards and not too steep of an incline on the backside so as to keep me close to the side of the car without a long reach. Before I purchased, I asked about refund policy - - it was easy. If it didn’t work for the purpose that I needed it for, then just return it. Bought Werner 4 foot for $52.98. I tried it today and it worked just fine - - ladder is sturdy.

I love going there and having someone ask me if I found everything I need. I don't have to look around to try to find someone. One of their truck drivers himself had asked me I I needed help and when he couldn't help he brought me over to the manager. The manager was friendly and helpful (love his colorful hair too!) got my parts I needed and answered my questions.

Very helpful staff & plenty of them anywhere someone might need assistance - very large store at this location. If one employee isn't sure they'll find someone who knows or can help find what your looking for. As an outside vender with a job to do - I had several employees as well as a manager to assist within minutes. Had my job completed, no issues & I was out the door. Nice crew. Thanks all.

It would be zero stars if I could! Went twice to order 800 Sq feet of flooring and both times were told there was Noone there to help with that . The second time we left a note for someone to call my wife in regards to ordering this flooring so we could get it on time for install and Noone called . My wife uses her lunch break to call and was told yeah I saw the note but we were busy ! I understand your busy however we were there twice with no service and left a note to be called right when someone was able to take care of the order and was told they were to busy ?? Well I will never shop there again and my $2000 flooring order went somewhere else just like my $4000 door order !! A little advice get someone who can take orders on all shifts !

So I looked online and saw a particular product. Sanford, Maine did not have it. But Rochester, New Hampshire had the product. Great!nJumped in the car and made a 40 minute drive. To keep this short, they did not have the item in stock. Seems store site they brought up did not match what they tell the public. Do you think I trust them in the future?
