I picked one Sunday to visit and the theme was on movies. They dressed up in marvel costumes for superhero day, sang “Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On” - as a hymn. For the service, we watched part of “Captain Philips.” They tried to relate the movie to a sermon but by that time I walked out.nnIt is a corporate church with millions of dollars in its pocket. If that appeals to you then go ahead.

We started going to NLC in 2018. I would bring my girls on Sundays (they loved it) and occasionally we would attend Thursday nights so my husband could go. We loved it at first, especially the worship, though it took a while to feel like part of the community.nWhat turned us off was what happened the following year. In April of 2019 our three year old at the time was diagnosed with leukemia. It was so bad in the beginning we were very close to losing her. I reached out to the location pastor as well as head pastor. And they were there for us.. for about a minute. The head pastor even called me on the phone and prayed. The location pastor came once to visit at the hospital. They said they were here for our family and also offered financial help. We said no, please just be there for us, that's what matters most. Be there with us through this journey. I think they checked in once or twice more, then nothing. When our daughter was well enough to come home we went to church probably a half a dozen times more. We got some smiles and waves but no one talked to us other than a quick hello and welcome. And that was that. It's a shame because we were really starting to feel like it is where we belonged. But if you're not even going to be there for a kid who has cancer... maybe they kept us in their prayers, but we felt very forgotten

If you’ve been looking for a cult look no further!! Just make sure to never say anything negative to them or their Kool-Aid followers.

Love this place!! State of the art Children's area !! Great staff! Always clean. If your not into conventional churches try this one. Pastors are full of energy, kind honest loving and compassionate people! I feel like they are more like life coaches teaching how to apply the bible in our daily lives! I've really enjoyed my experience s here!! I look forward to going every week!

My family and I have grown more in our relationships with God since attending this church than we have in thirty years of church attendance elsewhere. We love the people. We love the vision. We love the environment.
