Great for families.nnWhat a great find! Lots of trails. Lake is beautiful. Park is kept really clean. If on foot, try the trail that extends over the lake dam. Gorgeous views. Most trails are shared by ATVs etc so heads up.nnThis place is great for kids, with a beach, and well cared for amenities (like bathhouses and a playground). Much of the area is accessible too.
Beautiful area. It was a very relaxing park, we went kayaking and saw a lot of turtles and local wildlife. The beach area was very clean and the water was fantastic.
The fish were biting and camps were clean and tidy. Their shore is groomed sand which makes for an excellent place to swim and they offer kayak rentals.
The park has taken great measures to work with social distancing on the beach. I actually feel safe brining my children there during this time.
