A moderate level. Went on 09.28.2020. The foliage was beautiful. Very peaceful hike with not a lot of people. Parking is definitely limited and small, but we managed to park on the side of the road. Both red and blue trails are marked well. The view up hill is gorgeous. There is only one table to have a quick food, but usually people spend like 10 to 15 min to eat.

A great hike on a cool day. I used to work in the Fire Tower.

Very nice for a short hike that a younger kid could probably walk themselves. Only has a small view from the summit itself, so be ready to climb up the 3 flights of narrow fire tower steps if you want the nice 360 degree views.

Fun hike, worth is when you get to the top. It's a straight incline 1.75 miles up to the fire tower, but the trail is well maintained and relatively easy if you're in good shape. A little rocky on the trail, but going down wasn't difficult. Two small parking areas that don't fill up.

I’ve hiked Red Hill five or six times on my trips out to NH, and it’s a really great hike. Short-ish, not very time consuming, difficult enough to work up a sweat, and the view of the Lakes Region from the top is fantastic. I’ve never been to Mount Major, but I’ve been told Red Hill is superior to it. It’s definitely worth getting to the top to see the fire tower, and I would recommend going up the red trail and coming down the blue trail to see the cabin. The LRCT has done a great job keeping the trail maintained. Also, right at the parking lot, there’s a little cafe sort of place called Red Hill Provisions. Brian there is really nice and is great to talk to; it’s a great place to sit and rest before or after the hike. The muffins are very good, as are the dogs.
