Amazing place to be a part of! A great group of Catholics who are just a huge family, always helping one another out in any way possible. I couldn't imagine being a part of any other parish. There's always someone with a listening ear if you need it, some wisdom or advice, or just a prayer when you need it most. Have thoroughly enjoyed coming here for the last 5 years!! The music group is beyond amazing too!

ATTENDING CATECHISM AT THIS PARISH HAS MADE WANT TO LEAVE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!!!nnI attended Saint Leo’s Catholic Church from 2004-2016 going through Religious Ed, First Communion, and Confirmation through this church. Rita and Jodi do a despicable job at maintaining a welcoming and educational environment for this church! If I had not attended Grand Island Central Catholic for middle and high school I would not have been confirmed because of the abysmal representation the religious ed leaders give to the catholic church as a whole. Rita and Jodi are EXTREMELY biased towards GICC for the simple reason that the school does a thousand times better job at encouraging service, welcoming everyone, and helping students to learn about the church and their own spirituality. Because of this, GICC students often do not attend weekly meetings as there is blatant animosity towards us presented and we are ignored during weekly catechism. A great example of this will be the letter inviting students to attend their youth program referring to GICC as the “Evil/Dark Ones” that will be attached below. I encourage anyone with children in Grand Island to attend ANY OTHER CHURCH as they all do a far superior job at youth education.
