Winchester Bar & Grill

So, after reading the reviewers I took a shot to check this place out since I'm kind of a karaoke explorer and love food... Here is why 3 stars not 5 (and this is from a bar worker, bar DJ, karaoke DJ, and a technology tech)nLet's start with service.. I walked in and joined a party that was already there and after 20 minutes had to walk up to the bar and get a drink. Servers did good after I did that but got worse as the crowd for bigger and got checked on much less. Food was as expected as a bar food menu.. nothing super great and not bad.nMoving on to the reason I came, karaoke.. having a stage, lights, and able to text to signup great addition but not exactly setup that great. There is a TV off to the side so singing to the monitor you are turned to stage left when a TV could be mounted high on the pole to help with looking into the crowd. Wireless mics are a great choice, and speakers. Ugh, turn the stage speakers toward the crowd and get a monitor speaker or 2 they are cheap and helps the singer not get feedback and hear so much better.nI could go on since I have been a karaoke DJ for over 25 years but they have potential and with simple changes this place could be my go to for karaoke, food... Maybe

Awesome little hole in the wall! The corn nuggets are to die for and the 4 for 3 snacks plate is enough to feed a family!! Highly recommended.

Came in for a drink before the Lee Brice concert. This place is in definite need of rescue. I ordered a beer and my girl ordered a margarita and it tasted like a pine tree. So then we wanted rumchata. Nope didn’t have it. So then we wanted a baileys and crown shot and she mixed it together in a small shot glass. Place is definitely short staffed. Will never step foot in there again

Visited the Winchester today with my husband and intellectuallly challenged brother in law. We had 2 burgers, fish and chips, and we shared an order of onion rings. The portions were right on for our hungry bellies. The food was cooked to perfection but what I was most impressed with was the exceptional service from the young lady working today. She was so very competent and sweet to all who came in as well as us. She made us feel welcome and I didn't have to ask for the thing. She was on top of the situation. The Winchester is so very lucky to have such a great person working for them. We will definitely be back. Whoever prepared our meals is top notch as well. Prices were reasonable and service great. Overall great value for our money. Thank you

I love JD !! She is awesome !! So friendly, welcoming and she remembers me !! The other staff are nice as well, even the cook has talked to me before !!nThe burger deal on Tuesday’s and Saturday’s is such a good deal and so worth it !nnI wasn’t a fan of the taco salad, since it was just seasoned with salt- or seasoning salt, but the ranch, chickens strips, fries, burgers, chicken fried steak, mozzarella sticks, wings have all been good.
