Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Midtown

UPDATE: This movie theater is now under new ownership. I have not been to this theater since the change so this is not any accurate review.nnEvery time I go to this cinema I have a worse and worse experience. I just saw Star Trek on Monday had had the worst experience at the movies.nMy boyfriend and I got to the theater about 15 minutes before the movie started and placed our order...nI received my soda right away but my boyfriend waited about 30 minutes till they brought him a beer...not the beer he ordered. About 10 minutes later they brought him the correct beer. We also placed an order for popcorn and it took them over 50 minutes for them to bring us cold pop corn. I will say we got our order of cheese curds right away and they were delicious but not good enough to make up for the poor service and cold popcorn.

I love the Alamo, but the west location is my favorite of the 2 in Omaha (which is sad for me as I live in walking distance from this one). Food is good, cocktails are overpriced for their size and taste, but the beer makes the Sunshine Tap Room still one of my faves. They're always good for a delicious IPA on tap - my barometer for a good bar and grill.nnI would recommend either Alamo for their movie parties, new releases, and any of their other showcases. Best theater in Omaha by far!
