I was a non-believer that physical therapy could help my partially torn rotator cuff. However, after 3+ months of therapy with Kaitlyn, I’m up to at least 85%. She is the consummate professional and explained everything she did each time I asked for specific information. The entire team from Christina as receptionist to Tammi who kept me on track when I was working alone, they were all great. I also appreciated the stim/heat team—everyone is so friendly and they each take time to ask about one’s day and family. I liked that there was mutual sharing which made it more of a family atmosphere. I laughed a lot during my time there. I recommend them highly!nSharon

I wanted to share my story and success I have found with Ali at the Livernois location,. I have a serious issue with the left rotator cuff, and biceps tear that goes back to January 2019. I was blessed to find Ali. Ali is extremely gifted and truly one in a million, and I can make that comment because I have been through physical therapy many times over the past 22 years. Ali has EVERYTHNG, the skills, to listen, understand, communicate, and teach how to strengthen in my case my left shoulder. Many stretches and home exercises for strength and flexibility. I am an athlete, and my muscles turn into knots when aggravated which makes everything worse when I have a flare up. Ali healed me the first time I saw her, January through April 2019, I was able to do serious lifting and had normal use from my shoulder for a long time, then December 2019, I had some personal challenges and set backs that sent my shoulder into a major spin because I wasn’t using it much for 6-weeks. My shoulder became worse and worse, I was scared I might need surgery, then I saw Ali again, right before Christmas, and was back in PT for the shoulder, I missed a week in January, and another in February, but other then that I see her twice a week. I workout with a trainer, and he had to slow me down in January, based upon limitations and severe weakness, as of early March, I have complete control with the shoulder and the strength is better then ever, and the flexibility is wicked awesome. I still have March to get ever stronger. The key with Ali is she has EVERYTHING needed too be successful, you can Trust her with zero doubt and she is a perfectionist, and if you listen and are serious about getting stronger you most definitely will, Ali has the one added thing they can’t and don’t teach in PT School, she has a huge Heart, and she’s a better person then a physical therapist, combine those 2-things and you have ONE IN A MILLION . I can't say enough positive things about my experience at OMPT (Investment Drive Location). All the staff at OMPT are so professional and kind and create a warm and comforting environment. In particular my Physical Therapist Lauren was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and so kind, she put me at ease immediately and reassured me every time I was concerned or frustrated with my recovery. She always knew what was going on with my body to pinpoint what to do to get me better and Even squeezed me in for extra sessions when I wanted to recover at a faster pace! I actually genuinely looked forward to my sessions. Cannot recommend OMPT enough and I can only assume all the locations have similar atmospheres. Highly recommend OMPT if you are in need of some PT!
