It was a cute little gift shop. The ranger met us outside and got us the pass and gave us some advice on where to hike. He than let us into the gift shop and we looked around. It was full of fun national park themed household items.

The visitor center is not where you actually do the hikes so just be aware of that. The hike was decent although it was more of a walk through a canyon as there was no real hiking. The pectoglyphs were neat but it's hard to tell what are real ones and what ones people in more recent times drew on the rocks

A strong four period a quiet Serene environment. Hardly anybody there. Great place to go and relax just don't go in the middle of the day when the sun is beating down on you. Have fun.

This was a surprisingly well structured Park site with very interesting petroglyph work. It's also small and easy to see as a half day event. We appreciated that the staff at the site was helpful, passionate, and aiming to follow and enforce the government COVID regulations, despite the verbal abuse of some of the obstinate visitors there. The ranger we spoke with was extremely knowledgeable about the park and able to advise us well on trails. Also delighted to find that they had EV-- electric vehicle-- charging at the visitor's center!
