R.D. Allen has long been Freeport's best jewelry retailer. Maine tourmaline is hard to find, but they still have a great inventory, as well as a great selection of local artists and unique designs. They are also able to do very good repair work. Whether you're shopping for fun as a visitor, or a local buying an engagement ring, you will not find a better price or better service anywhere.

My husband and I visited RD Allen Jewelers on July 23 because I really wanted a piece of watermelon tourmaline. Annette helped us pick out the perfect pendant and chain. This store has the largest selection of watermelon tourmaline I have seen. I also trusted Annette to sell us a piece that was authentically Maine. She is very knowledgeable and should be on your list to visit. I would definitely come back next time we’re in Freeport (hoping next year)!
