First off, this place is super clean and the staff is great! Based on that alone, I would give 5 stars.nThe sides were different, they all seemed to have a twist put on them by the chef. Out of the four different sides we tried, we weren't fans of any but that could also be personal preference. The biggest issue was that the rib tips were saturated in seasoning. I couldn't taste the flavor outside of the seasoning and they were rather dry and tough.

I'm definitely glad I decided to give it a try though, because it's some of the best barbecue I've had! Even the sides were flavorful and delicious. The ribs were very tender and had a great flavor. The barbecue sauce wasn't the best I've had but also decent. This is definitely the best barbecue in Fort Wayne, not the best in the state though in my opinion. If you're a barbecue lover and in Fort Wayne or even in that region, this should be the top of your list of places to check out.

Great meat for the price ;). No, really. This place is great. Quick service as well. Looks great inside. I would recommend this place to any carnivore.

We ordered our Christmas dinner from Shigs on Fairfield and it was wonderful! We chose the maple bourbon glazed half ham, green chile mac & cheese, southern green beans, corn spoon bread and pumpkin bread pudding. We were thoroughly pleased with every part of the meal and would definitely recommend it!
