The food here is always good, but if you want to order to go, I recommend that you NOT use their online ordering. I placed an order this morning, and it said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up 18 minutes later thinking it might be ready early or I’d have to wait 2 minutes.nnWhen I walked in, an employee came up from the back and asked if I wanted to place a to go order. I said I already had one, and she was surprised to hear that. She came to the front and grabbed a receipt from the receipt printer, which is apparently the only way they are notified of receiving an online order. She said they would have that right out.nnI asked if they had started the order, and she said, “No, but it’s real quick.”nnI looked skeptical.nn“Have you ordered here before?” she asked me. I said yes, and she again repeated, “It’s real quick.”nnSo I waited.nn12 minutes later, my food came out. 12 minutes is reasonably quick, sure, but that meant 18 minutes should have been sufficient.nnI’d recommend calling to place an order instead. To the restaurant, I’d recommend a better online order receiving system.nn4 stars for the food. 2 stars for the online ordering experience, which made me 10 minutes late for work.

I have yet to find anything on the menu that Isn’t great!! The food is delicious and the helpings are plentiful! I started going to Emmy’s a little over a month ago. I would get carry-out at least once a week! I would normally get 2 different meals and had enough for 4 meals! I don’t know what I ever did without Emmy’s!!

Literally the BEST! Service spot-on, their breakfast food is my favorite in Avon, & it the atmosphere is friendly. My omelette was big; enough for at least another meal! I went with my uncle and we sat for hours talking/catching up - our waitress kept refilling my coffee (which wasn't burnt) and his Coke. I wish I could give more stars, they are excellent.
