Athletico Physical Therapy - Rockford Downtown

I went to Athletico Downtown after I injured my bicep in November. David was very thorough in examining my injury and providing an assessment into the details of my injury. He developed a regiment of exercises and therapy that would allow me to regain strength and mobility without having to resort to surgery. Over the next 6 weeks I was able meet 2 times a week with David and staff to rehab my bicep. The staff was more then accommodating in helping me fit therapy into my busy schedule. After the 6 weeks I was almost back to full strength.nnDavid, Jake, and Ashley do a tremendous job with the Athletico Downtown Rockford facility. They create a warm friendly atmosphere and treat their patients with respect. I am very happy with the treatment I received and my final outcome. I would highly recommend this Athletico location to anyone who is looking for a friendly experienced staff that will help get you back to 100%.

Most times, when I take the time to write a review, it's for negative reasons. This is not the case today. Initially, I chose this location because it was closest to my home. I am glad I did. From the very first session to the last, I was was treated with the utmost respect and was given the best physical therapy I have ever received. The physical therapist, David, is very knowledgeable and definitely knows his stuff. He was patient, kind, and was very encouraging throughout my treatment. He took the time to explain things and made the process a lot easier. The rest of the staff, Ashley and Jake, were always professional and they deserve to be mentioned here as well. I will use this location and therapist for any and all future pbysical therapy needs in the future. I highly recommend this place and this therapist.

Came in with a shoulder/back problem, David was able to work with me and got me feeling a lot better. David does a great job. I also worked with the Pt Aid Jake who was also great. Awesome staff very professional and knowledgeable, loved my experience! Would HIGHLY recommend this location!!

My 2 yr old daughter developed a radial head subluxation after being swung in circles by her wrists by an older sibling. We've all done this before with our little ones! She was miserable, unable to get on or off the couch by herself or use her arm at all. Well after a trip to the ER and her pediatrician who both did some range of motion techniques and were unsuccessful, I let the therapist at this location, David, take a look at her. He was extremely patient, let her warm up to him for at least 30 min while he played with her. After about no more than 5 min of him trying some moves, he felt the snap and she instantly stopped crying and within 10 min she was back to herself, playing. He stated he had never done this before but with his knowledge and research he knew what he needed to do. I will forever be grateful!!

Athletico Physical therapy was the best place I could have been sent to to get help in my recovery! David went above and beyond to what any other physical therapist did for me along with the whole Athletico team. I had gone to other physical therapists for my plantar fasciitis I was starting to feel discouraged when other “specialists” kept telling me that this would be a lifelong condition that I would have to live with for the rest of my life, but David didn’t take that answer as an option, he went straight to work and treated me. And low and behold little by little the pain started to go away, when we would hit a speed bump David would go out of his way to look at other options to keep moving forward in my recovery and did not give until there were results. Although it was a long and tough process months later I’d swear it was like I never had this condition to begin with because it’s now practically all gone! Almost a full year of my life being limited with this condition and thanks to David I can now start picking up the pieces and get my life back on track and even better than before too because thanks to David and hi advice and direction I even managed to lose more than 25lbs in just a short month and a half and gain more self confidence in myself and preparation to my future career in Nursing and it’s all thanks to him. In the end and after a long process I walked in with a therapist and walked out with someone who I now consider a good friend. So if anyone is looking for a therapist that will go above and beyond that really cares and will do everything he can to make sure you come out better than when you walked in the David is your therapist to ask for!
