Excellent all around. The visit was very enjoyable and the food was superb. Ambiance etc was good.nThe only downsides were that our chef, although a great cook, was not as animated as some. No big deal! They did tend to pack people in as the meal went on, filling the grill next to us with another group and social distancing was not really observed as the restaurant was totally filled.
They have excellent sushi and hibachi. The restaurant is super fancy and the ambience is romantic. I came here all the time with my partner and friends. This is the perfect date night spot. The quality of food is amazing! It is a true gem in the Rockford area. Keep in mind that I have tried sushi all over the world. I have since moved out of the area, but would 100% return to this establishment. The drinks are top notch as well.
We came for a special occasion, overall experience was ok, not great. The good- our grill guy was entertaining and talented, the pricing was fair. The other- our waiter was just not great. Maybe he had too many tables, we didn't see much of him, but our table had long waits for to go containers, check, drink orders and refills. Lots of younger children there. Next time I would choose to eat in the regular restaurant.
Love the people and the food. Been going long enough they treat us like family. Carry out is still good, but we miss dining in. Can't wait to be back.
Always great food...even to go! But the other side of the restaurant should b open too! Excellent choice dinner for the family on valentine's day
