Very helpful. Took a few calls to get someone on the phone, but once i did they were able to answer all my questions and point me in the right direction.
Downloaded the permit application online. Simple and efficient process. Ashley was pleasant to work with and the permit was ready ahead of schedule.
Wow!!! The employees in the Zoning/Bldg. department are the most unfriendly, unprofessional people I have ever met. The only reason I gave this department a two star rating is because of Dave Attebury and his awesome attitude and professionalism. If you dolt like your job then there are so many other places to work. If working for this department is so bad we all need to think about new leadership here.
I hope you're not looking for a quality government agency to deal with. When you start dealing with these people you'll soon realize that there is poor leadership and very unorganized people. Also you can count on an extremely rude secretary. Given the State of Illinois I can't believe these people treat incoming business the way that they do. Doing business with Winnebago County is terrible at best.
