With the pandemic and changing over to the state systems., this school has shown courage and commitment to its students, there is rough patches yes, but the school has tried to help with counseling, food banks and student support. Most prerequisites will transfer to a 4 year school.

LCC is a great resource for Longview and the surrounding area. Now offering 4 year degree programs. They have a quality athletic program and amazing campus recreation opportunities for students.

Instructors are usually amazing. Face a lot of microagressions from entry level staff like the new barista and other cafeteria employees but that doesn’t cancel out the teachers who want you to succeed and truly love the subjects they teach. The staff in the library usually make my day. Financial aid staff can be rude, I would say it’s good to have someone advocate for you if you get sick during the quarter to not deal with the different personalities you can meet.nThere are amazing classes and the campus is a beautiful place to be.
