Updated 04/07/21. Family stopped in to get fresh fishing licenses!! Love this store. Always has what you need! Small town characters stop in an make it memorable. I always stop in for fresh minnows. Hunting,camping and fishing supplies at grwat deals. A+++

No nonsense and if you know how to fish the kankakee river you recognize that the lure selection here is tuned to the local fish preferences in terms of pattern and color.

Was told this place was great and was looking forward to visiting here. Went to buy shotgun slugs but I because I'm out of state resident he told me I had to buy a hunting permit. So I need a permit to buy slugs to sight in and target shoot? I try to support small businesses but the unfriendly environment here make me regret that decision.
