Went in there first time the other day. Had reloading powder on the shelf. Wasn't sure what to use but the owner (Scott) was glad to help. Upon talking further with him he showed me their setup for loading new ammo. Top not operation! He was clearly short handed but took time to explain a lot.nnBring your cash. They prefer cash over credit cards. Great experience, will be back in soon.
Drove down to Thompson Trading from Chicago on a recommendation from a friend. Glad I did, the owner Scott was very helpful. Provided me with the ammo I needed and gave me a good deal. I will also be recommending his place to some friends.
I stopped in at Thompsons trading today and picked up some very hard to find handgun ammo / reloads at a honest price. I live in Northern Wisconsin and happened to stop in on a whim. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will be stopping again. Pandemic has caused shortages and this place has the goods for .45acp and 9mm and .380 ammo
Scott has always treated me great when his store.he takes time to answer all my questions and is fair on prices, and will usually adjust pries on gun sales if there is room to do so.if looking to buy or sell a gu go see Scott!
