I called because I never received my voter registration card. The guy I talked to was way too urgent to get off the phone with me. From the moment I got on the line with him I tried to explain the situation and he cut me off a couple of times. He then told me that I don’t need my voting registration card to vote, although the sheet I’m looking at says just the opposite. He didn’t explain anything clearly and rushed to hang up. I was very displeased with his service and I still don’t know if I’ll receive my voters registration card.
Each person I've spoken to on the phone has been very helpful, patient, and organized. I really appreciate the pleasant interactions.
Always polite and courteous staff and the service is always is the best
I've had nothing but positive experiences with the staff of the County Clerk's Office Vital Records Division. As a wedding officiant handling marriage licenses I've dealt directly with this office on multiple occasions. Each time I was impressed by the different staff members' customer service skills. Keep up the good work!
Although every great organization knows there's room to improve, the Lake County (Illinois) Clerk's Office does a great job to ensure voters vote (those who want to) with minimal wait times. As an election judge the last few elections (primaries and national), I can attest to the ongoing onboarding the Clerks (Willard and Carly) have done with their topnotch staffers and committed volunteers (though there is some remuneration, the term volunteer still holds). Keep up the outstanding job for your Lake County citizens!
