The art of karate can have a tremendous positive effect on its practitioner but the right teacher is required. Here at Midwest Shotokan karate I am simply amazed at the variety of drills, games and first class discipline implementation that Sensei Veronica brings with her passionate approach to karate teaching. I watch my son's every lesson there, his progress and his excitement about it. Our society is in great need of more of such top notch karate schools. My 6-yr-old son has been taking classes for just over two years. Sensei Veronica was just born to be a karate instructor for young kids. She is so patient and does such a great job of making class fun each week.nnI also give them kudos for their COVID response. The reopening plans were thoroughly thought out and they also did a great job of keeping members/parents informed every step of the way.

My kids have been going to MSK for years! Sensei Veronica is great with kids and makes Karate really fun. They enjoy going to class every week and have progressed really well over the years. I highly recommend this school for karate.

Ive been training here for the majority of my life and I can say this place is a second home to me. It’s always super exciting to have new students of all ages, so I highly recommend investing your time into them!

My kid has been practicing at Midwest Shotokan for a few years, starting with Little Tigers. Sensei Veronica is fantastic with kids. She's patient and kind, yet expects focus from the kids, and she receives it. I've never seen someone work so well with a group of kids.
