We had two pieces framed that we purchased at an art faire. I highly recommend the one step below museum grade glass. There is no reflection which makes the pieces so much more enjoyable. It costs more , but is absolutely worth it. The staff is very, very accommodating and did a wonderful job helping me figure out the perfect matting and framing. He took his time and made great suggestions. Visit this local business with heart and soul.

My recent purchase of a small, abnormally-sized print introduced me to the world of framing - and how expensive it can be. Of the four services I contacted in the Chicagoland area, The Great Frame Up had the most competitive pricing. They will also discount your order if you are willing to handle the final steps of the framing process yourself, which their staff will walk you through at the location. I can't speak for paintings or any other high-ticket media, but I'm very happy with my framed print.

Won't go to Michael's anymore for frames.nSharon framed two pieces for me, and showed professionalism, experience, and great service - all at a price comparable to Michael's.nProfessional frame shop without the snobbish people.
