Graduated 2001 with an AAS in computer networking at the Orland Park campus. Complete waste of $30k. I wish I would have gone into the trades instead of college. Everything I learned was obsolete within a year or two. Seriously, Novell Netware?? Windows 2000? They guaranteed job placement, but couldn’t place me anywhere paid. I needed to make money, not work as an unpaid intern. The only thing that was good was the new building/campus that opened while I was a student there. Everything was new and very nice. Thankfully I’ve gotten into a good career and make close to 100k a year now. I couldn’t work in a cubicle or office. I like working with my hands. Blue collar for life! USW Local 2003!
