Came here 4/13 to see a movie w/my kids & the new process to get food/drinks is absolutely terrible. I don’t understand why I was emailed that I have to order ahead, if the order wasn’t remotely ready. This procedure is not efficient at all, standing in line/ordering in person would’ve been much quicker.nnOn the other hand, the employee Journey working behind the counter was absolutely amazing. She was very patient, kind & helpful while assisting myself & many other customers pick up their orders. She absolutely stepped in, took control & was phenomenal. I couldn’t even be upset about the 20 minute wait on my order bc she was so kind. Marcus, figure out a better system & be thankful for employees like Journey who help make unorganized chaos still a good pleasant experience.
Okay so it appears that they are taking steps to ensure the safety of their customers and staff. However I do feel like people over gloves. Folks are so busy trying to be safe and they forget they're touching everything with those gloves and unless you are willing to change them after each customer. I am someone who cringes whenever someone is wearing them without me being able to see how often you change them and wash hands. Seating was setup to practice social distancing and the staff was friendly. This was my first time at that location and it won't be the last. OH AND IT FELT AMAZING TO WATCH A MOVIE IN THE THEATER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR.
I WARN YOU BE CAREFUL! This theater LEAVES TICKET MACHINES OPEN FOR SKIMMERS. If you have an unknown charge on your card CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. That means anyone with technical knowledge can implant any device and steal your credit card information. They also leave their ATM open at night exposing internal computer systems. I’m genuinely freaked about my credit card data and who could have taken it. I’ve tried to contact the manager and their headquarters but no one seems to care. IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME; look at the side of one of the ticket machines, you will see it is open and not locked, a black handle you will see. BEWARE YOUR CREDIT INFORMATION! This needs to be taken care of or peoples information WILL be stolen. I tried to help but no one cared.
I am so glad to be able to return to the movie theater! I have been going to Marcus Cinemas for years. It remains clean and orderly. I love the specials on Tuesdays and they are following COVID 19 guidelines to a tee!
Family night. Rented auditorium for friends and family. Saw Tom and Jerry movie. All food items ordered online. Very little contact with employees. Great experience.
