Darvin Furniture & Mattress

We stopped in to look at a dining room set we saw in an ad. We quickly found it in the store and checked it out a bit when a salesman showed up, Josh Hughes. Absolutely a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone. When I questioned how the leaf and table mechanics worked, he gladly removed the table decor and took the leaf out to show us. He gave us space while we did a lap around the store and caught back up with us when we found a sectional that would be great as well... happily swapped in the extra firm cushion for us to try and showed us how the pieces connected. We had to sleep on the dining room table set, but met up with Josh the following weekend and placed our order. We then revisited the sectional... turned out the pieces and sizes wouldn’t work for our room, and decided to table that plan.... Two weekends later, back to Josh we went... after finding out that Darvin carries Smith Brothers. Josh helped figure out the sizes and pieces that would work for our room, swapping in the extra firm cushion for us and even called over a designer to help select fabrics. Ultimately, it took us 3 weeks to decide on fabric (have you seen how many Smith Brothers offers?!) but Josh was patient during our decision and happily answered any questions we had along the way. Josh is an asset to the Darvin sales team and they are lucky to have him on board. We will definitely be back for future furniture projects and look forward to working with Josh.

Sharon was very helpful. Not pushy at all, no one “bothered” us on the floor while we shopped which was a welcoming change. I believe this made us more intrigued to ask questions and actually speak with someone! Ordered beautiful bar stools FINALLY we have been looking for months now. Thank you Darcie! Now hopefully they arrive sooner than expected, the delivery time is pretty far out but so was every other place we visited. And the stools were much nicer here, great amount of inventory to choose from.

A pure quality furniture store. I have furnished five houses through Darvin. Jeff Blocker was an outstanding salesman. I purchased three kid’s bedrooms of furniture. He satisfied my family and my needs. The way he shared what makes a piece of furniture high quality was very helpful for our selection. With nearly 40 yrs of shopping Darvin, their products has always been top of the line. Congrats to this country’s finest furniture store.

Great experience!! Went a couple days ago to check out a bar for our family room and Ed, our salesman, was fantastic. Needed to do a few measurements to make sure all the pieces would fit and went back today and bought the whole set. Ed was great, he wasn’t pushy and let us look around at our own pace and just said to let him know if we had any questions. He was very helpful and I definitely saw some other pieces that I would like to get for other rooms in our home. Huge showroom with lots of choices for all different tastes/decors. Highly recommend Darwin and definitely see Ed if you go there.

My sales person Michelina (I think) was great at letting us roam and checking in every once and a while. She did not hover like so many places seem to do. When we had a question she was quick to give or find the answer.nnThe reason I gave only 4 stars is because I was very frustrated in the counter space when we are to stay 6 ft apart. The windows they were using were right next to each other when you went to check out. I was less than a foot from another customer. That is not practicing social distancing.nnFollow up to this post....2 months later no couch. I had to call them to find out what was going on. At that time they told me another 2 months. 4 months after buying the couch still no contact and I again had to call. A second time they added 2 more months. 6 months since I bought the couch NO CONTACT! I call and they try to push me out another 3 months. At this time I cancel my order.nnTo make amends 6 months later I receive a coupon for money off a purchase. There is a promo code so I try to purchase another piece of furniture but it will not let me use the coupon. I message through their chat system and it says they are closed but will get back with me when they open. 2 hours after opening I again message no one has gotten in touch with me. 2 hours later I get a response that they weren't open and they did not receive my message......HOWEVER the person that responded knew exactly what I messaged in my first text. At this time they proceed to tell me I have to come into the store to use my coupon. I am not driving 45 minutes to be told the item is gone or I have to come back another day. The customer service reps response is have a nice day. Their customer service is beyond awful. They do not care about their customers. I was even going to give them another chance but nope. I will buy from their competitor like I did with my couch, recliner and side table. It is obvious they won't miss my business or yours.
