My 4 year old son needed 5 fillings, and OP Dentistry for Children were recommended by our regular dentist to make sure he had a positive experience. I'd say that he got that and then some. We were able to take care of the fillings in the minimum amount of sessions because he was relaxed, comfortable, and had fun. Dr. Michelle was great and would definitely recommend. They will work with you regarding insurance and payment. Great practice!
They are very deceptive. They assured us our Insurance was In-Network. Turns out, it was out of network. While we thought everything was paid for and we were moving from Illinois to Washington, they never tried to contact us or inform us our insurance did not cover the bill since it was out of network. They sent the $89 bill straight to a Collection Agency only for me to discover the debt 6 months later when checking my credit report. Their office staff is worthless.
The one lady at the front desk is incredibly rude to patients. I am not normally the one to leave complaints, but I am just so angry. It seemed as though she was trying to start fights with me the whole time. I will be switching dentists only because of this terrible service. The actual dentists here are kind but I cannot handle the front desk lady.
This office uses deception to lure patients in. Upon calling them to setup an appointment, they demanded that we pay $212 in full despite having insurance. They promised that the amount will be returned in full once they processed the claim. To start with, I should not need to do this. Second, $212 for a 5 minute cleaning of a 3 year old is not a reasonable amount. Third, I don't pay for insurance so that I pay cash at the Dr. office. They then went back and only sent a partial amount claiming that's their fees. Be careful of this fraud.
I needed a pediatric dentist that does not bind children. This fit the bill. Dr. Michelle is wonderful with my shy kids - so gentle yet honest as she explains each step. She allows children to have procedures done while sitting on mom or dad's lap, easing their fears. We love it - and drive 50 miles to get there!
